ATTENDANCE
Should my doctor attend?
Doctors are of course welcome to attend AADOM25. Many doctors attend with their teams especially since the courses benefit all leaders of the practice. If your doctor decides to come, he or she won’t be alone! We have seen an increase in new dentists who want to learn management basics before they open their practices. We encourage attendance of any team member involved in the management of the practice, including the doctor. The more team members who attend, the easier it is to implement new strategies upon returning to the practice.
Should I bring my team?
ABSOLUTELY. We recommend you bring all front office team members to this conference. Enjoy the benefits of team building, easier systems implementation, covering more educational courses at one time, etc. Plus, practices bringing three or more team members receive a registration discount!
My husband/wife is the doctor – are there courses for them?
The Dental Spouse Business Network (DSBN) was created for you! AADOM hosts a DSBN full day retreat (traditionally on Wednesday pre-conference). This event is exclusively for dentists and their spouses/partners who manage the practice, covering topics specifically for the couple who manages/owns the practice. The retreat will include our very popular DSBN Roundtable session, led by a dental industry leader.
How can I find a roommate?
You can always post an inquiry on our member forum in the conference category, and for years this has been a resource for members looking to reduce conference costs.
If you are a member of an AADOM DPLN Dental Connection you can also post your request in their private forums and Facebook pages. We urge you to exercise caution when reaching out to any stranger – even if they’re part of AADOM.
I work for a specialty office. Does it make sense for me to attend?
One of the very first activities of AADOM25 is to seat attendees by specialty. This gives attendees a chance to network with peers in their specialty. While there are not specific specialty courses this year, the connections you build on the first day provide the opportunity to discuss challenges, share ideas and resources with peers who understand your specialty. Keep in mind that even though a session does not say it’s specific to a specialty, in most cases, the information being shared is easily applied to specialty practices.
REGISTRATION
What if I arrive at the conference and decide to switch classes?
You can alert the registration team, and if there is room in the class, you will be added. Many of our courses were sold out or near capacity last year – if we can accommodate your request, we certainly will!
I’m having trouble with my registration or I want to change my course selection.
Please contact info@aadomconference.com, or via phone at (888) 570-0899 with your concerns.
What meals are included in my registration fee?
Your conference tuition includes breakfast and lunch on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 9/4/25 – 9/6/25. Network with your peers and our dedicated exhibitors over breakfast and lunch in the Princess Ballroom each day.
I can’t attend now. Can I sell or transfer my registration to someone else?
If you are unable to attend, you may only transfer your registration to another person within your practice. Transfers and reselling of AADOM Conference registrations is prohibited. Please see cancellation and refund policy above for refund schedule.

ON-SITE
What is appropriate attire for the conference?
We recommend business casual. Keep in mind that many of the breakout rooms get chilly, so we suggest bringing a light jacket or sweater with you. We also suggest you wear comfortable shoes. Bring along casual attire for social events, dinner, etc.
Will there be WiFi access in the conference rooms?
WiFi access will not be available in all guest rooms, and in the meeting space/class rooms. We do suggest downloading and/or printing any speaker handouts before the conference to assure you have the needed materials prior to your sessions.
Is the conference in the hotel or in a separate location?
The Conference is being held at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, TX. The general sessions and meals will take place in the Princess Ballroom and the individual courses in the surrounding breakout rooms. For your convenience, an AADOM room block is available at the Fairmont Princess Resort. Reserve your room early as the room block WILL sell out! Please click on the Lodging and Transportation tab in the navigation menu of the website to reserve your room.
COURSES
The conference dates are September 4-6 but you have sessions scheduled for the September 3rd. Why should I come in early for any of those courses?
Over the past several years we have offered “pre-conference” sessions. These have been very popular as they are more focused longer sessions and are more in-depth. These are an additional cost.
How are educational speakers chosen?
Speakers can be chosen by either:
- Being scouted at another dental meeting
- Submitting their course for consideration
- Member recommendation
The Speaker Selection Committee reviews the candidates and contacts them to discuss topics best suited for dental practice management. The selection process takes 2-3 months and begins a year in advance of the next year.
What is the difference between the Educational Sessions and the Sponsored Educational Breakouts?
The Educational Session speakers are chosen by AADOM’s Speaker Selection Committee. We work hard to bring you the best of the industry and have received rave reviews every year. Some speakers may be sponsored by a company, but they must disclose this at the beginning of the course. Sponsor endorsements are not permitted during Educational Sessions. The Sponsored Educational sessions are a part of a sponsorship package purchased by supporting companies of AADOM. These sessions will be hosted and run by the sponsoring company. They may bring in a non-company speaker or may choose to have a company representative lead the session. You may be exposed to the company product, but most companies choose to focus on education, not sales.
