Debbie Evans, DAADOM is the practice administrator and vice president at Wainright & Wassel DDS, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has been in the dental field for 27 years. She loves her chosen career, and the practice is her second home. After studying Business Administration at the University of Florida, Debbie married Ron and they have two wonderful children, Ryan, and Brittany. When the children were in school, she went to work for their family dentist. He needed help growing his practice, and asked Debbie to do it. In 2005, after 13 years of growing this practice, Ron and Debbie were transferred to Raleigh. This is when Debbie began her much-loved career at Wainright & Wassel DDS. She is a strong advocate of AADOM and wholeheartedly believes that it has helped her, and the doctors increase the growth of the practice tremendously. They have gone from a two-doctor practice to a successful and busy four-doctor practice, and they recently purchased another office. Teresa Spence, DAADOM, has been in dentistry for over 31 years, most of which she has spent with Amelia Dental Group in Fernandina Beach, Florida. She has held the position of practice administrator for the past 11 years. Teresa is a lifetime member of the American Association of Dental Office Management. She is also president of the AADOM Northeast Florida Chapter. She became a fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Managers in 2012, achieved her AADOM Mastership in 2020, and is a two-time recipient of the Practice Administrator of Distinction award. 

Elaina Wharton

I have had the pleasure of working with Dr. Alijanian since 2005. I began as a certified surgical assistant and quickly found myself cross-trained in both the back and front office. Now as our practice administrator, I am fulfilling my passion for improving patient’s dental health through personalized care and education. In 2016, I became a FAADOM, fellow of the American Association of Dental Office Management, the nation’s largest educational and networking association dedicated to serving dental practice management professionals. Emme holds ACE Certification and Adult Learning credentials, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning. A finalist for the Dr. Bicuspids 2023 Hygiene Educator of the Year, she actively participates in professional networks like the Speaking and Consulting Network and the Academy of Dental Practice Managers.

Jennifer Steadman, RDH, BSDH, DAADOM, is an expert in hiring, transitions, and business operations, specializing in team development, leadership, and communication within dental practices. As a speaker and author, she brings a wealth of experience, having served in every role in the dental field except as a dentist. Currently, Jennifer holds the position of Director of Operations at Inspired Hygiene, a company dedicated to coaching dental teams in enhancing their hygiene services, systems, and profitability.

In her previous role as Director of Operations for a mid-sized DSO, she managed mergers, acquisitions, onboarding, HR, and budgeting for a team exceeding 200 members. Jennifer is the founder and former president of The Boston Chapter of AADOM, receiving AADOM’s Practice Administrator of the Year award in 2020 and later achieving the highest distinction in the association, Diplomate. She established Steadman Onboarding Solutions (Jen S.O.S.) with a focus on guiding leaders through practice transitions, fostering empathetic leadership, and optimizing team hiring and retention.

As an international speaker, coach and owner of Inspired Hygiene, Rachel has guided thousands of dental professionals to elevate their hygiene services and systems while driving profits to the bottom line and developing empowered, engaged hygienists. Rachel draws from over 30 years of experience as a hygiene profitability coach and clinical hygienist to deliver to-the-point interactive workshops and coaching programs. She is a past recipient of the Dental Excellence Award from DrBicuspid.com for “Most Effective Dental Hygienist Educator” and has been named one of the Top 25 Women in Dentistry by Dental Products Report.
